Android, OtakGames – Xiaomi India is expanding the list of eligible devices to receive its Android 15-based HyperOS update, soon reaching phones in the Xiaomi 14 and Redmi 13 series, Redmi Note 13 and Pro 13 series, respectively.
HyperOS has introduced enhanced Animations that look better than ever, while its Android skin also offers various improvements to the graphical user interface.
The F5 is an excellent smartphone if you prioritize superior battery life and want an unfettered Android experience. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset, its Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset provides impressive performance while keeping power consumption to a minimum. A full day’s gaming, YouTube watching, social media browsing or scrolling will put this battery through its paces – quick charging with its 67W fast charging capability makes this smartphone accessible even to heavy users.
F5 features an amazingly crisp, high-resolution display that’s both responsive and enjoyable to use, plus it is lightweight and thin with an attractive matte frame. When purchasing an F5, be sure to invest in a case to protect it from drops and scratches while adding style and keeping its beauty.
Xiaomi is beginning to release smartphones equipped with HyperOS, the company’s new operating system designed to deliver an optimal user-experience across devices like smartphones, tablets and smart TVs. At the core of this software lies Vela, an open system designed to support a range of processor platforms and file formats – as well as seamlessly connect various devices over Wi-Fi networks in order to share data, messages and applications among them.
HyperOS will add various enhancements to the core Android experience, from performance upgrades and battery optimizations, to privacy features and new lock screens, control centers and icons – plus revamped fonts and smoother animations!
The update will be distributed gradually, and Xiaomi has provided a list of eligible devices to receive it initially. These include the POCO X6 Pro (review), Poco F5, and Poco C65 smartphones; along with Mi 8 Pro and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. As more devices receive updates over time, Xiaomi may add them as part of the rollout plan.
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro is one of the most sought-after budget smartphones in India due to its powerful performance and impressive cameras. Boasting a 5-.99″ IPS display with 1080×2160 pixels resolution protected by Gorilla Glass and featuring fingerprint, ambient light, face unlock functionality as well as 12MP image sensor + 5MP depth sensor combination providing better portrait photography with bokeh effects, this device also comes equipped with multiple sensors including fingerprint, ambient light, ambient light as well as face unlock functionality for added convenience.
This smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 graphics, along with 4GB of RAM to ensure smooth performance. Furthermore, 64GB of internal storage can be expanded up to 128GB for even greater versatility – plus its powerful 4000mAh Li-Poly battery can ensure long days without charging!
Benefits of HyperOS 2.0 Update for Xiaomi Users
Xiaomi users can look forward to numerous advantages with the HyperOS 2.0 update, such as enhanced security, feature integration and innovation, and a more seamless ecosystem experience. While initial learning curves or app compatibility issues could occur due to this software upgrade, Xiaomi prioritizes transparency through their Security Center website to keep consumers aware of when and how frequently updates may happen on their device, so they can plan ahead.
Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that the POCO M2, POCO M2 Pro, POCO M3 and the POCO X3 will receive the HyperOS update due to their older System-on-Chip (SoC) designs, which may not support all of its latest features and enhancements. Furthermore, these devices have not received their Android 13 update despite sharing similar SoC designs as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
