Otakgames.net – Game developer and publisher from Japan, Bandai Namco Entertainment, announced the release date of the fighting game “Tekken 8” at the Gamescom 2023 event.
Tekken 8 is an upcoming fighting game co-developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Arika and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The eighth main and tenth overall installment in the Tekken series, the game is set to be released on January 26, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X and Series S.
In this game, it is told that Kazuya Mishima, who defeated his father, Heihachi Mishima, continues his quest to rule the world. Kazuya uses the power of the biotechnology company, G Corporation to wage war on the world.
Kazuya’s son Jin Mishima must stop his father from committing the crime. Jin will also be assisted by his mother, Jun Kazama to quell Kazuya.
In addition to the new storyline, “Tekken 8” introduces a new character named Azucena Milagros Ortiz Castillo. Azucena is a fighter from Peru, South America who adopted a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighting style.
The figure nicknamed “Coffee Queen” is part of the “Tekken 8” roster which includes 32 characters. There are various iconic characters who will be present in “Tekken 8”, such as King, Hwoarang, Asuka Kazama, and Yoshimitsu.
