News, Otak Games – In the long-awaited live stream by the gamer community, HoYoverse recently announced the latest update for their popular game, Honkai: Star Rail. The update, called Honkai: Star Rail 1.2, is scheduled to launch on July 19, 2023.
This latest update introduces a new chapter in storyline and surprising missions. In addition, it also introduces new characters that can be obtained through the Warp feature with a gacha system. With the theme “Even Eternity Ends,” players are prepared for an even more immersive and thrilling adventure.
The latest raid takes players to Xianzhou Luofu, the climax of the ongoing story. Here, the character Dan Heng returns to action with his comrades in Astral Express and witnesses a pivotal moment in the history of the Xianzhou Luofu Alliance.
This new adventure opens access to new areas, such as Alchemy Commission and Scalegorge Waterscape, where new challenges and enemies await. Not only that, players will also explore Stellaron, the location of the disaster that reveals the truth hidden inside the Silkpunk warship.
In this update, two iconic new playable characters – Kafka and Blade – are prepared to be introduced. Kafka, who was previously only a test character and boss in the Simulated Universe, will get more playing time. Blade, which only appeared briefly in Honkai: Star Rail 1.1, is also set to further open the story.
Blade, with Wind and Path of Destruction elements, is a healer who also has the ability to increase damage by sacrificing Health Points. Kafka, with Lightning and Path of Nihility elements, has the power to multiply the damage received by the opponent.
Also in update 1.2, players will get to know Luka, a new character who is a member of the Wildfire organization in Underworld. Luka, with Physical and Path of Nihility elements, has a combo attack that gives a Bleed effect, and the damage he produces will continue to increase as the turn goes on.

HoYoverse also introduces a series of new event-specific missions such as the “Amazing Tale” presented by storyteller Mr. Xiyan in Starskiff Heaven. There are also features such as “Search for Underground Treasures” and “Sailing Records of the Eternity Seeking Ship” in the Forgotten Hall, which offer unique adventures and rewards.
Gamers who successfully complete the first part of the Memory of Xiaonzhou series will be awarded the 4-Stars Yukong character for free. In addition, Honkai: Star Rail 1.2 will also introduce World 7 and a new Planar Ornament in the Simulated Universe feature.
